Turn Food Scraps into Compost

This is just a quick post about a program helping us all by turning food scraps into compost! Starting this Saturday and every Saturday until October 15, 2011 – you will now be able to drop off your food scraps at the West End Farmers Market in Vancouver. Funded by the City of Vancouver, this program is setting the bar for all food type waste programs to try combat unwanted food waste entering our land fills. Show your support and do the right thing and bring your scraps down!

The West End Farmers Market in Vancouver is located at the 1100 block on Comox Street, every Saturday from 9AM – 2PM
